You know those times where you catch a blip on the last minute of the evening news or the 2 line paragraph at the bottom of the page in the paper detailing the passing of a music great from the past? Well, those stars get much more than the back-page treatment here. The Music’s Over not only provides tributes, but provides the reader with thoughts and music from all genre’s.
Remember when I came across a ton of tasty free SXSW MP3’s a few weeks back? Well, I have forgotten to check back to see if this years crop has resulted in the same bounty. Larry Joe Taylor’s Festival is always unreal and KHYI’s Texas Music Revolution@ Southfork Ranch boasts an awesome line-up and promises good times for all. While its not totally a “Texas Music” festival, this annual get-together is also worth marking your calendar for.
