If you think The Rolling Stones are one of the greatest COUNTRY bands ever (dont believe me? Listen to “Dead Flowers,” Honky Tonk Woman,” “Wild Horses” and “Far Away Eyes”), then read this blog daily!!!

If the lyrics to “Sunday Morning Coming Down” scroll out as if they are taken from your life’s story, then sorry for how things suck…and read this blog!!

If you think hearing Reckless Kelly, Allman Bros, Willie Nelson, and Slobberbone back to back on 92.5 or 95.3 is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, then read this blog daily!!!!

If you want to know about local Country Bands that you won’t hear on the radio, then read this blog daily!!!!  If you want to know about bands that are from somewhere else and you rarely hear in DFW, then get up on this!!!!!

If you would like my Chili Recipe (that I stole, but I’m not saying from who), then read this blog daily!!!

If you love the Lord, read me.

If you don’t love the Lord, pray, then read me.

If you think the video below is kind of  definitely the coolest thing ever recorded, then take a trip to this site every day or two and smell the whiskey burnin’ down the Gobblers Knob…uh, road??

If you want love, baby, I got it!!!

I really don’t have time to read blogs, but one of my best friends from college ( Chip-Amber Waves of Twang) turned me on to his blog and then found yours through his, so I may need a job in the near future. I am, and have always been, in search of great music. I am not a musician, not even of the low quality that Chip was in college when he played bass in the band, ” Claustrophobic Youth With Guns” and in the school talent show did a great punk version of the “Loveboat Theme”. Sorry I degress. I am , however, a music appreciator, not like the low level college course, but someone who has always been passionate about music. And if I had to pick a genre, which i’m glad I don’t, I would pick some sort of alt. country, twang related, pychadelic hoedown type. I’ve already found a new band to check out on your site so I appreciate what you’re doing. I will be a faithful reader as long as I remain gainfully employed.
