The Gobblers Knob

If you live in the DFW area and love Texas Country, you for sure also love The Front Porch Show w/ Justin Frizell on 99.5 The Wolf.  I have been introduced to many of my favorite artists thanks to this long-running show (10 years or so is my guess).  When the big boys of the scene need to pump their new disc, this is a key stop for them.  If a new artist wants to really get his name out there, then a call from Justin is the first step in getting that done.

Tonight I get to see a dream come true as I will be in studio with Justin for tonight’s show.  I will be there to support 2 of the artists that will be performing at the COUNTRY FOR A CURE concert next week, Jay Johnson and Mo Robson (Mo is also promoting his upcoming live CD recording at the historic Adair’s in Dallas).  As good as that is, it gets even better.  On the show tonight also is Back Porch Mary, who’s latest CD is awesome (review coming soon) and recent #1 Texas Chart winner Jerry Audley, who’s single “Lucky Me, Lonely You” has become a bonafide hit here in Texas.
